Powerful interactions in multilingual classrooms October 30, 2020 Webinar Congres Levende Talen (NL)
The focus of this workshop is arts education in multilingual classrooms. We inspire you with good practices of multidisciplinary artistic workshops, combining music, drama and movement. We designed the workshop for multilingual primary schools with Dutch as a school language. The activities are also significant for early foreign language education in primary schools. We opt for implicit language learning by using language as a means of announcing activities, to interact and reflect on the creative process. This is a presentation in Dutch.

Arts education in multilingual classrooms

October 28, 2020 Webinar PXL-Education (BE)
What makes arts education in multilingual classrooms interesting and how can you make pupils more language-sensitive during a creative workshop in a multilingual classroom? We will explain our approach during an online webinar in Dutch. The good practices we would like to share with you focus on interactive, self-directed learning and active involvement of each child. Who knows, it may inspire you to encourage children to express themselves expressively, whether from their own room or in the classroom, out of joy, amazement, fear or hope.
